At Brault & Martineau, we offer two delivery options. Our experts can deliver your order within a 200-kilometre radius for an amount of $39.99. Beyond that, delivery is still available, but for an extra fee. Expedited parcel service is also available for some products through our partnership with Canada Post. 

Free delivery promotion*

Until December 31st 2021, our delivery service will be free of charge for all orders of $799 and over, before taxes. We will deduct from your purchase an amount equivalent to the shipping cost, up to a maximum of $39.99.

PLANNING YOUR DELIVERY

Our delivery experts will contact you to schedule a delivery date. If your item is being delivered by Canada Post, your order will always be shipped as quickly as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a notification and a tracking number.

Deliveries start at 7:00 a.m. and end late in the evening. The day before your delivery:

  • you will receive an email in the evening indicating the time slot for your delivery
  • you can inquire about your time slot using our automated system as of 1:00 p.m. Dial 1-844-440-4051, option 1

Note that this time slot will be given as an indication and is not changeable. Brault & Martineau will always do everything in its power to deliver your merchandise on the date agreed with you. Sometimes, however, exceptional situations may arise, such as poor weather conditions or a truck breakdown. In the event of a circumstance beyond our control, Brault & Martineau cannot be held responsible for missing a scheduled delivery date. We will keep you posted if any difficulties arise during delivery.

Should we have to arrange a second delivery because you were away when our team arrived, additional shipping charges may apply. If you intend having someone other than yourself to be present to receive your items, please let us know, so we can take the name and contact details. Our team will ask for an identity card with photo when delivering the goods.

WEB ORDER DELIVERY

If your order was purchased on our website, you will have to be present for the delivery and present:

  • An identity card with photo
  • The credit card used for the transaction

Safe delivery

  • Our delivery teams will ring or knock and then place your merchandise inside your home in the location you request. In order to maintain everyone's health, please stay a minimum distance of two meters from our delivery people.
  • The deliverers will take pictures of the documents you signed, with your own pen, at the time of delivery.
  • If you have cough, fever, or trouble breathing, if you have been in contact with someone who has contracted COVID-19, or if you are in quarantine, please advise us.

PRACTICAL TIPS

  • Make sure door openings, stairways and the space where you want your item to go are big enough for the delivery people to position your merchandise easily.
  • Make sure your entryway is clear and uncluttered during delivery.
  • Someone aged at least 18 must sign for the item on delivery.
  • We recommend you put down floor coverings to protect your home from damage.
  • For safety reasons, our delivery people cannot remove their shoes/boots when they deliver merchandise into your home.
  • Our delivery people are authorized to remove only those doors that are equipped with pivot hinges. Our delivery people will unpack the merchandise, unless it is an item that requires assembly.
  • If we need to remove your old electrical appliance, please disconnect it, move it out of its space and empty out the contents. Brault & Martineau cannot be held responsible for personal effects left inside items collected by delivery people.

Damaged or defective item

In keeping with best safety practices, our delivery people safeguard the quality of your merchandise by unpacking and installing appliances where you want them. If the item is damaged or defective, report it within 48 hours of delivery. You can contact the Customer Service, by dialing 514-881-4051, or access “My account” space and create an Online service request.
