Originally from Marseille, Stéphanie is a self-taught stylist and founder of the blog Déconome. She has been living in Quebec for 18 years. Passionate about home decorating, her favourite style combines classic elements with a dash of eclecticism. Her goal was to create a trendy mood board for her winner’s small living room. She wanted to give depth to the space based on the winner’s tastes – while also taking her out of her comfort zone. Here it is:
The mood board is quite bold and puts the yellow colour forward. It shows a mustard Scandinavian-style armchair and original but minimalist paintings; shades of grey and white balance the ensemble.
This white table is ideal for adding brightness to the room. It fits perfectly in a small space and has an original shape.
This mustard armchair with flared legs boasts style and boldness. It brings mid-century Scandinavian design to mind. It’s the piece of furniture that was needed to give life to the room.
With its simple and minimalist lines, this painting is the perfect complement to the rest of the decor – the little yellow touches nicely match the armchair.
Despite its size, this piece of furniture is perfect for the winner's small living room. Thanks to its neutral tone and simplicity, it can be combined with bolder colours and furniture.
