Our Delivery Service

At Brault & Martineau, we offer two delivery options. Our experts can deliver your order within a 200-kilometre radius for an amount of $49.99. Beyond that, delivery is still available, but for an extra fee. Expedited parcel service is also available for some products through our partnership with Canada Post.

Planning You Delivery

Our delivery experts will contact you to schedule a delivery date. If your item is being delivered by Canada Post, your order will always be shipped as quickly as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a notification and a tracking number.
Deliveries start at 7:00 a.m. and end late in the evening.

The day before your delivery:

  • You will receive an email in the evening indicating the time slot for your delivery
  • You can inquire about your time slot using our automated system as of 1:00 p.m. Dial 1 833 333-0345

Note that this time slot will be given as an indication and is not changeable. Brault & Martineau will always do everything in its power to deliver your merchandise on the date agreed with you. Sometimes, however, exceptional situations may arise, such as poor weather conditions or a truck breakdown. In the event of a circumstance beyond our control, Brault & Martineau cannot be held responsible for missing a scheduled delivery date. We will keep you posted if any difficulties arise during delivery.

Should we have to arrange a second delivery because you were away when our team arrived, additional shipping charges may apply. If you intend having someone other than yourself to be present to receive your items, please let us know, so we can take the name and contact details. Our team will ask for an identity card with photo when delivering the goods

If your order was purchased on our website, you will have to be present for the delivery and present:

  • An identity card with photo
  • The credit card used for the transaction

Practical Tips

  • Make sure door openings, stairways and the space where you want your item to go are big enough for the delivery people to position your merchandise easily.
  • Make sure your entryway is clear and uncluttered during delivery.
  • Someone aged at least 18 must sign for the item on delivery.
  • We recommend you put down floor coverings to protect your home from damage.
  • For safety reasons, our delivery people cannot remove their shoes/boots when they deliver merchandise into your home.
  • Our delivery people are authorized to remove only those doors that are equipped with pivot hinges. Our delivery people will unpack the merchandise, unless it is an item that requires assembly.
  • If we need to remove your old electrical appliance, please disconnect it, move it out of its space and empty out the contents. Brault & Martineau cannot be held responsible for personal effects left inside items collected by delivery people.

Damaged or Defective Items

In keeping with best safety practices, our delivery people safeguard the quality of your merchandise by unpacking and installing appliances where you want them. If the item is damaged or defective, report it within 48 hours of delivery.

Real-time tracking of your order

On the day of your delivery by our team, be informed in real time and follow the route of our delivery truck. No need to wait for hours without knowing!
In addition, before the big day, you can plan or modify your delivery by going directly to your profile or via the tool in our Customer Service section.

Shipping and delivery

How do you set delivery dates?

As soon as your merchandise is available at the distribution center, our staff will contact you to choose a delivery date. It should be noted that no precise delivery time can be given, due to unforeseen circumstances.

Can I take the merchandise I have purchased with me immediately?

Some merchandise can be picked up directly from the distribution center or store where it was purchased. Click on Find a Store to get the phone number and address of the distribution center or store nearest you.

Can I pay the balance of my invoice at the time of delivery?

No. When purchasing online, the amount must be full paid.

Can I have merchandise delivered abroad?

No. Our delivery service covers Quebec only. All online orders must be delivered to an address located within the province.

Can I go to a store to pick up my online order?

Yes, it is possible to go to the head office to pick up an order placed online.

Can I choose the delivery date for my order?

Yes, currently, offers the possibility to choose the delivery date for orders placed online. However, depending on your delivery zone, a calendar is available and you can select a date with a yellow dot. 

However, if the merchandise is not available, but in backorder, you will receive an email or/and a phone call as soon as the merchandise has arrived. Afterwards, please call our delivery service toll-free at 1 833 333-0345 to set a date.

Will the delivery people unpack my products?

All merchandise delivered is unpacked and assembled by the delivery personnel who must return the packaging. The only exception to this rule is merchandise identified as "assembly required" which will not be unpacked or assembled.

In addition to assembling your merchandise, our delivery personnel can pick up your old appliances for a small fee, provided that you have requested old appliance pickup while purchasing your new appliances. Your obsolete appliances must be unplugged and removed from their location before the delivery personnel arrive. However, Brault & Martineau cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by the removal of these old appliances. Read our delivery policy for more information.
